Contrasting how we stayed fairly sane in the 1970’s vs 2024.
1970's
turn off: TV
turn off: radio
cook dinner at home
set the table
you all sit at the dinner the table, at the same time
say grace (and or there was a cross on the wall, and or image of Jesus, and or Mary)
communicated (talked and listened), even if you hated it and disagreed
clean up and put everything back in its spot
If we did this today… it might go a little something like this…
2024
turn off: smart phone, your work phone, your spare phone
turn off: tablet, laptop, desktop
turn off: bio hacking device, smart watch, whatever else your tracking
turn off: your gaming console
turn off: TVs & monitors for streaming services, or old school TV if you have it
turn off: Alexa, nest, ring, etc..
take your meds, supplement for optimal ingestion of some nutrient someone told you we needed, take / do the anti-aging hack
(sage the house and arrange the crystals if your in LA or similar)
cook dinner – if you know how (no private taxi for your burrito)
set the table – if you know how, if you have the gear to do it, or even have a dinner table
have family dinner – if you have a family where know where they are, are speaking to each other, or not working 2 jobs (to pay for private taxis for your burritos, so you can be efficient to keep working to pay for the private burrito taxi)
communicate (talk and listen) to the person, if possible, without getting triggered and having the whole thing explode into chaos
clean up and put everything back in its spot, if you know how
To me the take away is clear, the picture is crystal clear.
We replaced God for a digital god. Our resilience, connection and ‘temple’ was communicating in person, in a circle, with presence. Replaced by fear, fractured energy and diiminised spirit.

I agree and can substantiate your premise. We have become nothing more than worker bees to the bee keepers. Quality of life has slowly been drained out of many.
